A9-754 / 54 (cn 285D-5662) The former Bu No. 160754 joined the RAAF 27.5.78 seen here on a rare visit to the UK while with 10 Sqdn before the marks were toned down. On 26.4.91 she ditched in a lagoon in the Cocos Islands just off the beach. Attempts to drag the aircraft out of the water failed and the wreck was cut up and eventually dumped at sea, although Air Force personnel made several visits for about a year to retrieve parts. The nose was initially preserved on the islands and the tail became a memorial back at RAAF Edinburgh
