A89-309 (cn 426-5110) Held nearly 40 years ago, the opening of Auckland's International Airport at Mangere is still one of New Zealand's largest air display's. The RAAF No 11 squadron received its first Neptune maritime reconnaissance aircraft in 1951 and the type was used until 1968 being replaced by the ubiquitous Lockheed P3 Orion's.
