A89-281 / VH-NEP (cn 726-7281) No wheels, in RAAF colours. Wears the registration VH-NEP, but never formally registered as such. Registration VH-NEP was later allocated to Neptune c/n 726-7192. RAAF A89-281 was originally delivered on 24 May 1962 and made its last flight on 6 Dec 1977 from Townsville to Amberley for disposal - the last operational RAAF Neptune flight. It was then trucked to Archerfield in 1990, and later dismantled and trucked to Albion Park, NSW in June 2005.
