Remark Photographer
A14-653 (cn 653) An Army Turbo Porter, operated by No 1 Aviation Regiment (then based at Amberley), before I went for a 0.4 hour famil flight in the STOL aircraft. During the 'Beta Airtest' we did a steep Beta Approach and landed into wind 'Across the Amberley Runway' (within the Runway width!). This Porter (built in 1967) has also been registered HB-FDL, N101CP, and is now ZK-JML in New Zealand. (An ex-Vietnam Cessna O-1 Bird Dog, in blue/white livery with Playboy Bunny logo, is at rear left.)
