WD828 / K-271 (cn F8656) RAN Firefly WD828 taxies out for its flying display at the Schofields Airshow in Nov 1985. This Korean War vintage aircraft (Del 12/50) wears 'Invasion Stripes, as applied in the 1950s. The name on the Nose-Art near the cockpit is 'Mickey's Mouse'. WD828 did a crash landing near Camden on 04Dec1987. I last saw a Firefly flight demo at Oshkosh in August 2003 (ex-RAN WB518).
