WD828 / K271 An RAN Firefly taxies out for its flying display at the Bi-Centennial Airshow at RAAF Base Richmond in 1988. This Korean War vintage aircraft (Del 12/50) wears 'Invasion Stripes, as applied in the 1950s. The name on the Nose-Art near the cockpit is 'Mickey's Mouse'. I last saw a Firefly flight demo at Oshkosh in August 2003.
