Sabre A94-959 about to land with speed brakes out, at RAAF Base Williamtown on 11May1967. The Sabre, also known as the 'Sword', was fitted with a Rolls Royce Avon engine. This aircraft (Del: April 1957), in yellow/black 2(F)OCU colours and 'Marksmen' Aerobatic Team logo, was photographed the day Wg Cdr Vance Drummond was lost in one-month-old Mirage IIIO(A) A3-77 in the ocean off Newcastle. She was mounted on a plinth at Raymond Terrace NSW after being retired in Oct 1976 - moved to Fighterworld in 2013.
