Rare 37 year old formation photo of the newly formed Roulettes Aerobatic Team. Macchi MB-326H aircraft replaced the Telstars Vampire Aerobatic Team in February 1968, but the Macchi Telstars existed for only two months. Operated by Central Flying School (CFS), the Roulettes were formed in 1970 to fly at the RAAF Golden Jubilee celebrations in 1971. This photo was taken during one of the first Roulette practice displays in 1970, with the aircraft in plain silver livery. The Team now operates Pilatus PC-9As.
