Rare 40 year old image of an RAAF Vampire (from ARDU) conducting a demo napalm attack at the 1967 Laverton Air Display. The action took place on the airfield behind 37 Squadron's new C-130E A97-177 (Del Nov 1966) [not visible in this photo], which was sidelined by a flat Port MLG tyre. The Vampire demo napalm drop caused a furore in the media at the time, as it was not then public knowledge that napalm was in the RAAF weapons inventory.
