At the Aviation Heritage Museum. Thank goodness for a 12-24mm lens! This aircraft was the last Dakota delivered to RAAF, in Aug 1945. It has USAF serial 45-957 and carries the name "Flag Ship". It also used radio callsigns VHRGL, and VMLBZ. In October 1980, it was leaked that this aircraft was to be destroyed in tests of the Karinga cluster bomb, so the RAAF instead donated it to the RAAF Association WA, and it was delivered to Perth Airport in 1980, before being moved by road to Bull Creek.
