Point Cook RAAF Museum – This particular example of the Government Aircraft Factory Canberra has had a very active life. Delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force on the 23rd October 1957, it saw service with No.82 Wing and No.2 SQN. It also spent some time with the Aircraft Research and Development Unit (ARDU) at Edinburgh, South Australia. It was retired from service in 1982 and converted to be exhibited at RAAF Point Cook. Since then the aircraft has been maintained to taxiable condition. The tail in the foreground is that of a B-24 Liberator.
