They are part of the striking, all red Austrian female F/A's uniform. We are cruising at 12,000 ft on this sightseeing flight on the occasion of the inauguration and blessing of "Spirit Of Austria", Austrian's latest addition to its long-haul fleet (Canon EOS 350D, EF-S 10-22). They are -literally-surrounded by computors and other instruments ! Do the pilots realise themselfs that hundreds of people are fully depending on them and the instruments ?

A visitor from United States posted Tue July 17, 2007: I have been a pilot since 1951,and am amazed at all the changes in the flight deck.Also there were very few ladies as commercial pilots when I started flying,and I am happy to see them makeing strong strides into commercial and military aviation. The "glass" cockpits are awesome,especially linked with GPS for pinpoint navigation
