They are -literally-surrounded by computors and other instruments ! Do the pilots realise themselfs that hundreds of people are fully depending on them and the instruments ?

A visitor from United States posted Tue July 17, 2007: I have been a pilot since 1951,and am amazed at all the changes in the flight deck.Also there were very few ladies as commercial pilots when I started flying,and I am happy to see them makeing strong strides into commercial and military aviation. The "glass" cockpits are awesome,especially linked with GPS for pinpoint navigation
