Very nice picture! But how does a 777 manage to land in Madeira the runway isn't that long? I guess jamming the brakes and full thrust reverse will do the trick^^! Anyways very graceful picture.

Great contrast of colours. Beautiful. The biggest A/C this runway used to handle was no bigger than a 757. Until it was lengthened some years ago , on stilts into the sea!

Before Austian and Lauda came together, Lauda came there with A320 and B738... But the t7 looks very beautiful in the sunlight of Madeira :)
