Excellent shot! The only bad thing about the picture is the sorry state these aircrafts are in. Towards the airline´s final days, Avensa had a policy consisting of exchanging parts from one airplane to another so that they could properly fly, while the others remained on the ground. This policy was best known as "Cannibalism". Dedicated to my cousin, Oscar Marin who used to work for Avensa, now with Copa Airlines in Panama City, Panama. Enjoy it, Oscar!

Worth to mention is the variety of airplanes AVENSA had on the ground by the time the airline began to "cannibalize" them: there are lots of DC-9ers and MD-80
