A visitor from Mauritius posted Sat October 11, 2008: Avianca's decision for A330s instead of 787 is not Colombian. Avianca is owned by Brazilian Synergy group. Regardless, A330's delivery time was much shorter than 787 which was in line with Company's expansion plans. 787 still has a long development period ahead. I'm sure the company will incorporate more 787s in the future and perhaps more A330s too. Excellent picture. Beautiful livery.

A visitor from United States posted Mon September 8, 2008: Avianca has a nice livery but why so many Airbus when the American taxpayer has given Colombia's government over $5 billion dollars over the last 10 years? 70 or so new Airbus and only 10 Boeing 787's. Such ingratitude! Gracias Colombia!
