Wings folded, on static display in the Air and Space Hall at the Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester. The Avro Avian was designed as a competitor to the De Havilland Moth series and was successfully used by a number of well-known pilots of the day to make record-breaking long distance flights. They were produced between 1920 and 1930. 58 of the Mk3A's were built, powered by a single 95 hp Cirrus III engine with a 28ft wingspan (Canon 350D + Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM, Speedlight 430EX)
