G-VLCN / XH558 (cn SET12) A fitting subject for my 2000th photograph. Over 30 years ago in the sleepy Herefordshire town of Shobdon a very young boy went to his first airshow. A Vulcan displayed, creating indelible memories of overpowering noise and a huge alien shape leaping skyward. A lifelong passion for aircraft was born in an instant. But it was not until Cosford 2009 that I would see a Vulcan flying again...
