Built 1949. This is the nose of the prototype Avro Jetliner. The first passenger jet aircraft that was born even before the Comet in England. Capable of carrying about 50 passengers at speed nearly 500 mph, the project was given-up. Could it be because of British influence? Only the nose is preserved in the National Aviation Museum
