A visitor from United States posted Tue February 28, 2012: Wow! Hard to believe the cabin belongs to a bird sporting propellers. At least in the USA back in the classic days of commercial air travel (beginning of jet age) if it had propellers generally it had an older looking cabin design with curtains and less common area lighting. Compare this cabin with that of the Comet even the Comet 4! The passenger cabin of the final generation Comet looks quaint in comparison.The round windows and almost spartan decor made this jet dated. Thank you for the great photo. It seems everyone wanted to copy what was then jet age ultra modern, the Boeing 707/720!
