Nice photo - nice journey back in time! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful photo! One thing that I noticed right away is the small amount of "stuff" in the overhead rack. Compare that to today, where we travel with massive amounts of e-toys, clothing, cameras, etc, and now look at the small amount of carry-ons that these folks had.
Dan, Not sure about "A Hard Day's Night....but when I listen carefully I can hear the Beatles singing "Back In The USSR".
I flew on BEA Vanguards from LHR to JER a couple of times and I think the rear cabin behind the rear door was first class if my memort serves me well.
One of the blues brothers on this flight? lol nice catch...
Lovely photo! First time I have seen the inside a PAX Vanguard. Nice plane - love those old Brits!
Nice photo, but the guy with the dark sunglasses looks like D.B. Cooper!
Nice! I was born in August 1964! Not too different from now, not considering the missing smartphones...
Retro cabin picture!! Note overhead coat racks instead of luggage compartments! Thanks for sharing!
Love the overhead bins. Thanks for sharing!
This is a rare and much appreciated look into the cabin of a rare turboprop airliner. Well done!
