A while since I have seen this bird at MAN. Landing on 06R in between heavy hail shows.

It reminds me of the airline, which was taken over by Caribbean Airlines.

The backdrop of the photograph ,as of like it was sunny on one side of the photograph and the other side the cloudy on the other side and the appel of the craft the way the shot was taken was good

Looking great. I miss this plane since BWIA has come to a close. Always used to see this passing over the Maracas Valley in the evening on it's descent towards TTPP

The days of 9y-TJn and 9y-JIL good days , for anyone who cares : BWIA ran them both Trinidad to England for about 3 years , in 2006 BWIA came to an end , 9Y-TJN went back to the lease company in London , and 9Y- JIL ( formerly china girl virgin atlantic who had a very eventfull pass EGLL to kai tak included! after the accident at heathrow the plane was repaired and sold to BWIA) was sold to Caribbean airlines.

Caribbean airlines maintained the pos to Heathrow for a little less than a year then they sold the heathrow slot to british airways for cheap change , 9Y- JIL was then sold to Aerolineas argentina!

It's a flying hubcap !!! :P

Naw, I think the design is supposed to represent the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago - the Steel Drum. ( wikipedia "Steelpan" and you'll see )
