N18V / DR628/PB1 (cn 6869) New airframe at Airliners. Photo taken at the Rotterdam Airshow where this bird also gave a dynamic display. Started its life as 44-67761 in the USAAF (UC-43), then to FT507 for the RAF (Traveller 1), to BuNo 32898 for the USNavy (GB-2) and into civilian use as NC18 (D17S). The differend type-names are no actual conversions/modifications. Here it is painted in its original RAF colours, but resembling YC-43 DR628 (cn 295) as well as Prince Bernhard of The Netherlands PB1 (cn 420). Owned by Robert Lamplough
