N554RB (cn TE-1141) This American-registered Baron is seen taking off from Shobdon at the start of the Royal Aero Club Beverley Snook Memorial Trophy handicap air race in which it was campaigned by Bruce Hook. Grateful thanks to Jim Wesson, to the Clerk of the Course and to the Shobdon officials who allowed me across the active runway to photograph the event. (400D, Sigma 80-400 & fluid-head tripod).
