G-BRVE (cn 6701) A historic warbird with quite a history, is seen here in civilian guise. Built as a UC-43B (military version of the Beech 17 Staggerwing) for the US Navy as BuNo 23689 (probably not applied) and then allocated serial 44-67724. It passed to the Royal Navy under Lend-Lease agreement becoming FT475 and operating from Scotland. After the war it returned to the US Navy as BuNo 32874 before becoming civillian owned, carrying registrations NC1193V and N1193V.
