FA-131 (cn 6H-131) As from 2002, the Belgian forces were amalgamated - the Air Component now comprises the 2nd and 10th Tactical Wings, equipped with F-16s at Florennes and Kleine Brogel respectively. In 1999, twelve of the F-16s flew 679 combat sorties to enforce the no-fly zone over the former Yugoslavia, the first operational missions since the second world war, and in 2005, they deployed to Afghanistan. This F-16AM from 1 Sqn, 2 Wing, is seen arriving for RIAT. (400D, Sigma 80-400 & fluid-head tripod)
