00046 (cn 8 6 013 01) Six Beriev Be-12 aircraft were modified into fire fighters with the designation Be-12P, one of them being RA-00046. This particular aircraft is operated by Beriev TANTK as a flying laboratory. The aircraft was modified to test the water drop system of the Be-200ChS, hence the new designation Be-12P-200. The aircraft performed several water drops daily at the 5th Gidroaviasalon.
