@visitor from Jordan: As a visitor from Lebanon has said, this is positively the ex-pivate plane of the late president Mr. Hariri (RIP). Now it belongs to the UAE's Abu Dhabi Amiri flight and is painted classicly with a red cheatline, but smartly on the other hand with all white wings! Just checking the database by clicking on the cn 29953/252 and checking the shots gave me this info.
Irregardless of who own's this beauty, it is a very classy biz-jet type :) Very very nice bird!
Complete class | |
I'm almost sure that this plane is not PM Rafik Hariri's (RIP). I used to work in Beirut Airport and I used to see his 3 planes all the time (G3 - 727 - 777). All of his planes' codes start with HZ- because they all are registered in Saudi Arabia....and all aircrafts registered in KSA start with the HZ code (which refers to Hijaz). Still, I don't know if they changed the registration lately. And the plane is very similar...it has the gold lining like all of his 3 planes. The 777 is currently used by his wife, Nazik who now lives in France. Saad takes the 727 most of the times.
Gee from a distance it almost looks like a 21st century revival of Eastern Airlines!
Yes, this plane belonged to ex PM Rafik Hariri (R.I.P.) T.B.
The ultimate billionaire toy!!
Great shot! Wish the sky was just a little bit brighter. Indeed, this was the late PM's personal plane (Forbes list of billionars) and I am sure it is being used by his son now (MP Saad Hariri) and various other Hariri family members. It is not owned by the government; they fly on MEA.
Before anyone gets too jealous, please remember that Rafic Hariri was killed by a car bomb some time ago. As I believe the aircraft was his personally, and he was a very wealthy businessman, it does not belong to and is not used by the current Lebanese government.
This girl belongs to the Saudi Oger Ltd.
So that's a Lebanese bizjet? Wow, I don't know what to think...
Isn't it nice to know, that at least the PM of Lebanon is travelling in better stile than most of the PMs of the donor Nations to this suffering country!
Yeehaww that's the crown jewel biz jet that you would hope to retire flying after a career of racing around in Lears, Citation X's and G-V's.
