N1365D (cn 16589) Originally constructed as a Boeing KC-97G 52-0895 then converted to the jet-assisted KC-97L standard, it still wore vestiges of her military markings when photographed at Medford OR in late 1997. Sadly she looked derelict with an outer engine removed and the jets also missing. She was owned by Erickson Air Crane and intended for a museum.

Thanks for the update information, good to hear that this historic aircraft is now preserved and well cared for.

This aircraft has been completely refurbished and is on public display at MFR as a historical object and war memorial.
