It is just fantastic. Anything wrong with the outside of plane, you can see what it is from the inside the cockpit. Which is just plush.

There are HUDs in commercial planes like the embraer 190 CRJ 737 and a few more

A visitor from - posted Sat October 10, 2009:
Looks more like a Garmin G1000 setup then a commercial airliner.
Also, why haven't there been HUD in commercial aircraft before?

I wonder how glassy future cokpits will look like. This is already a very much literal meaning of "glass cockpit" ;)

Looks like the Gulfstream's "Play 'N View" cockpit. This kind of cockpit on the Gulfs are simply the best, but it does not fit to a Boeing. Don't like it at all.

Wonderful cockpit, even in this ultramodern flight deck, they kept the sheepskin. :)

A visitor from United States posted Tue September 16, 2008:
Your pic is very nice! It really shows off the office. Is it just me or do I see two remote controls? Wouldn't you love to work in an office like this?

A visitor from United States posted Sun September 7, 2008:
The navigation display is a bit narrow in my opinion, when compared to the 777 or 747 nav displays. Perhaps there's an option in the software to utilize the full screen instead of half.

A visitor from Mexico posted Thu August 14, 2008:
Now that's what I call a nice cockpit!!

Coming from a B738 pilot.
Where is the APU Fire warning switch? I believe i see the two for the engines, but not for the apu?
Seems like this will be updated further in the near future... Nice clean cockpit however, just the way boeings should be.

A visitor from Germany posted Thu January 24, 2008:
Nice one! i love the screens, the seats and the round style of the middle console.
but i think thats it...
in addition i think that the two main windows are pretty small due to their shape, but that may result of the pic´s angle.

A visitor from France posted Thu January 24, 2008:
Few buttons and more hi-tech make it easier to understand how that beautiful stuff works! still don't know if the joystick is better...anyway, the HUD and the nice curved seats make that cockpit even more aesthetic and futurist!

A visitor from Argentina posted Thu January 24, 2008:
OMG! what a cozy and comfy place! this is top noch hi-tech. Exellent exposure time.

A visitor from United States posted Wed January 23, 2008:
Royal, in this time of 787 bashing, a nice moral booster such as this is very welcome! Sweet shot, perfectly exposed, and a very good opportunity to see the high-tech layout of Boeing's newest airliner.
