I grew up and remain close friends with the Boeing family. When I was young I used to play with an original scale Boeing model of this plane -- same color scheme, decals, livery, etc. This is a wonderful picture, brings back so many memories of running around the back yard with close friends and that model 737, thank you.

Nice picture of this B-737. I had the chance and pleasure to fly twice on this jet, first time with Lufthansa MUN-MIL (Linate), early September, 1978, and second time with Air Florida MCO-MIA, mid September, 1981. BTW, both trips were made during my school vacations. Even though it has become an old,obsolete thing -according to today

Holy Mother of God...This is the very first B-737 that started the thread still keep going to this day, with the B-737-800 and -900 Series, and the B-737 MAX to start service, this year (or in 2017).
