Nothing glamorous about the interior of the first 747 built.

Very sad and historic plane. I hope someone appreciates what this plane represents in aviation history back at Boeing.

This really shows what the interior of a test aircraft tends to be like, especially a prototype. This isn't neglect. This is just how it ended up after its time as a test aircraft. It never looked like what you'd see in passenger service. Why load row after row of seats on a plane you'll never carry a load of revenue passengers in?

Rolled Out Of Factory On Sept. 30th, 1968. The Boeing 747, often referred to by the nickname "Jumbo Jet", is among the world's most recognizable aircraft, and was the first wide-body commercial airliner ever produced.
