Love it !! Boeing make another piece of beauty here. Look at this pure design, between the sexiest designs came from the 60s and this modern appearance.

So it IS painted red! I thought it was a lighting thing when I saw pictures of the official roll out. Amazing! I like it!

As much as I love the new paint, I can resist thinking how black and white it looks!

"The real roll-out came several hours later."

I thought Boeing has put some stuff around the bird, to present the livery to all when the roll-out took place...
No matter what: "My favourite colour is Boeing blue" ;)

Absolutely gorgeous. If something's beautiful, chances are it will work well. One up on the whale A380.

This is an absolutely gorgeous airplane. I love the colors used on it as well. I'm sorry, but the A380 has nothing on this beauty!

Hey Airlines order this plane! Your customers WANT to fly in it!!

If I was an airline CEO I would order the damn thing simply because its the best looking aircraft that man has ever built. As it turns out the 747-8 is not only hands down better looking than the A-380, but has newer engines, newer flight control systems, and possible a more efficent wing than the whale.

The 747-8I and its predecessors are like the T-Rex. They are the coolest, meanest, most unstoppable thing the world has ever seen. Sure, they've since found bigger stuff; but no one cares. GO 747!!!! YEAH!!!

The big bump and the engines i like.Beauty for ever. But i am not optimistic that airlines prefer it above the whale.congrats to boeing and its engineers for this icon.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder .. but I think the 747 is a beauty in everyone's eyes .. the queen of the skies got a facelift, and it makes her look so smart again ..

The only thing 60's about this classic is it's perpetual good looks.Everything else is well and truly 21st century.

The B747 has always been the icon of commercial travel. Being a true aviation enthusiast, I love and have always loved every aircraft equally. But theres that special spot for the 74. It just got better. The sexiest thing in the air. Long live the B747
