I love it, this plane is beautiful!
Excellent shot. As for the warping on the skin behind wings, it's simply all that collagen left over from all the plastic surgery the 'cat' had.
I think those wrinkles are for launching sonobuoys
Interesting looking plane. Maybe the wrinkles behind the wing are there on purpose to create disrupted airflow on the skin of the aircraft before the scoop.
" I'm surprised to see so much warping on the skin behind the wing..." Great photo....I think I see the emergency air scoops open on the belly fairings. Maybe the aircraft is unpressurized. That could explain why the skin is wrinkled aft of the wing like that. Sure don't look right.
Interesting "Ram's Horn" configuration for a 757.
You're not fooling anyone with that disguise! Edward Lion of Yelm
Nice hair :) | |
As Aeronautical Engineering student I'm proud to see how engineer can improve their projects! Excelent Job guys =))
Living near KPMD, I've seen this aircraft, and it is by far the most unique looking aircraft I've ever seen flying into or out of there. Awesome photo Brian!
It's an awesome photo. I had no idea there was that much involved in equipment test and evaluation. Shows where some of the dollars go.
Great shot! I'm surprised to see so much warping on the skin behind the wing...
