It does look a little stubby though, an improved 767 perhaps. And what's up with the colour scheme? From the over the top "dreamliner" to the non existance? | A visitor from - posted Fri August 28, 2009: Apart from the wing I'm not too fussed about the 787 design, it reminds me too much of a 767 which, in my opinion, is the dullest of all the Boeing designs. I think the main 'wow' factor is the oversized engines, and when they're missing it really doesn't do the 787 any favours. | |

But i've seen the first one in the factory itself and if you see it with the engines it's just like a giant embraer190/170(with those waves in the engine fuselage). It has NOT received new colors and has NOT had the engines replaced. The 3rd frame has always been in this scheme and has never had engines installed. Suggest deletion until corrected despite a great shot. Cheers! | |
