a pleasant surprise to see the first C Series today at Mirabel. Many points tied it to the ground. They definitely don't want her getting lost in the wind.

Nice capture of this brandnew bird! These winglets look almost classic in the days of blended winglets and sharklets. Tail section reminds me of a B777 somehow...

Beautiful!!!! The first true airliner (meaning, not regional jet) designed and built in this country since around 1949. I cannot wait to see the C-Series fly.

Hey, it looks like copy of Superjet.

I hope it will be more reliable, comfortable and maintenance friendly than the CRJ series. Looks wonderful!

Not difficult to see why the tail section is reminiscent of a Triple 7's... Axe-shaped end of hull, slim tailfin. So, beautiful, like the big Boeing. Good to see the eagle on the engines, Canada hooked up with Canada. I hope she will sell well, and do better than the Sukhoi Superjet 100, although I must say I had expected the wings to look more curved ala 787, 748. This looks more like e.g. the A330/340 winglet, i.e. somewhat dated. But looks great!

Looks nice, even with the unpainted fuselage and white titles - kinda cool.

At first, I thought it was a Superjet with winglets. 5*

The tail is actually A380-esq. But the winglets are definitely "classic". One of the best looking smaller airliners out there!

Nice looking aircraft. The tail section/APU reminds me more of the A380.

They were running the first fuel flow system tests - gotta make sure the vehicle does not move.

I best there are pretty unhappy people within Bombardier about this picture being snapped - they usually like to keep tight control on how the CSeries is presented to the public before first flight. ;)

Good looking bird, well done Bombardier. The empennage does look like an A380's, especially the APU exhaust.

@ the dated winglets comment: From an aesthetic POV the A330/744 style winglets will never be dated and nothing will top them, ever! I hope Boeing will not use the 787/748 style wingtips in their future designs.

Great picture. Please note that it is "CSeries", no space, no dash between the C and the S.

It's Superjet killer

Nice! The visitors, who really beleive, that she is Superjet killer, should compare their characterisrics. Despite the similar appearence, CS100 and SSJ-100-95 aircrafts are not competitors to each other. Different capacity, different range, different MTOW, different price etc.

The winglets are the same as the current ones on the newest E175s and are the same as the upper portion of the 737 max AT winglet. They are not that same as the A330/A34/744 winglet.
