Aircraft Taken at More: Trans World Airlines (TWA) More: Boeing 747-131 More: Zurich (- Kloten) (ZRH / LSZH) More: Switzerland, February 1993 Remark Photographer N93119 (cn 20083/153) A vintage 1971-example, on its way to Paris CDG and New York. July 17, 1996: TWA #800 by member September11 Aircraft: N93119 (741). Route: JFK-CDG. 212 Passengers & 18 Crew Members. At around 8:31 p.m., few minutes after take off, the plane's fuel tank sparked and exploded in mid-air off Long Island. The plane disintegrated and plunged into the Atlantic Ocean.
