A pilot's weather eye. Beautiful framing.

The cloud definition in the background is outstanding. The clouds add a lot more drama to Conny. It's a shame the photographer couldn't get more of a three-quarter of the aircraft with those clouds in the background.

There is no need for color in this picture.

Fantastaic contrast! I don't miss the colour at all.

Classic airplane, classic colours, classic background...what else can you ask for?

A visitor from United States posted Wed January 18, 2006:
The contrast of the clouds and sky and the equally stark lighting of the plane, not even mentioning that the Connie is the most beautiful aircraft of its type ever built.

100% atmosphere. You can almost smell the freshness in the air. B/w is very apt for this kind of aircraft and shots, as it emphasizes the forms quite lovely.
