Remark Photographer
G-BOAF (cn 216) IT'S OVER.....as chief Concorde pilot Mike Bannister said "from today, the world is a bigger place", the last flying icon of British and French design touches down at Filton ending 34 years of Concorde operations. As Concorde is powered by four Rolls-Royce/SNECMA Olympus 593 engines, it's fitting that the Rolls-Royce Defence Aerospace factory clearly stands out in the background.

I first saw this amazing plane as a 12yr old in 1972 when it visited singapore.it was piloted by brian trubshaw.i've always loved this beauty.she was just way ahead of her time.its so sad we won't see her in graceful flight again.never had a chance to fly with her.her roar was unique.

If you take a closer look to it's nose and imagine it is a human face, you'll notice the Concorde is kind of sad by itself. Excellent picture, by the way.

What's unforgettable day and a amazing touch down.
The background is crowd with Concorde's lover like me but I didn't have the chance to stand on there. And the Rolls-Royce building is also a perfect match of this picture. Well done Martin.
