AP-BAK (cn 21825/383) Reminiscent of the British Airways Utopia tail schemes, PIA are applying ethnic schemes to certain aircraft. This tail fin depicts the motif of Sindh with aircraft named as "Thar" –Colours of the Desert. Ironically British Airwasy removed the last Utopia scheme from the last mainline aircraft (G-DOCT) only a few weeks ago.

Nice photo! I really like the tail. And just because BA did something a little similar a few years ago, means that no one else can use that same theme?

Hmmmmm...donno what to say...from one bad colour scheme to the next...the white band looks out of place on the tail. maybe a white fuselage would help too. saad?
