Godfrey Auty flew this modified Fairey Delta 2 at the 1964 Air Show. The Aircraft had a completely new Ogee shaped wing to test the supersonic handling of the proposed shape subsequently used for Concorde.

This is the first time i see this model, it is beautiful, i think it has a very uncommon standing position and it makes it special. Thus, the paint scheme suits very well the aircraft.

I'm guessing the main gear was nicked from a Lightning! I think it would of looked better with the original FD2 gear, but then again that wasn't the point of it.
