Atrocious weather conditions this morning greeted the first 748 for BA World Cargo from KPAE, she touched down at 07.27 GMT in heavy rain. Seen taxiing to the cargo ramp for her superfluous water salute.

Will this different design on the tail be used in all its commercial fleet too? Great capture! Great photo.

Just to say, this is an absolute sight for sore eyes. No other livery complements the 747 lines like a British Airways one ;)

Absolutely stunning! Beautiful aircraft in a beautiful livery... I just wish the 7478i would be seen in the same, doubtful though...

Very nice livery.... Nice successor of G-GSSA, painted only for a few months as such with "Chelsea Rose" tail in 2001.....

I'm an Airbus fan, but this is a great looking bird. Surely they could have waited a few more minutes and landed at 07:47:08 though!

Let's hope her performance will exceed expectations and they order her Intercontinental sibling!

Fourth of November! Great, I'll take this as an extra birthday present. To keep it British: it looks splendid. No wait: rather 'marvellous'! Would love to have a model of this.

The 747 is, without question, the greatest jetliner ever made, and the 747-8, specially the freighter, which looks similar to the original model, is simply stunning, still the prettiest, forever the best!!!

7474ever!!!
