Perfect timing and tight focus capture all the heat generated by the Olympus fire-breathers. But this looks like take-off, not landing.

Perfect angle! Really the Concorde, despite its age, was an unique SST. Too bad it´s retired. T.B.

The true Speedbird! 5 Stars - if only for nostalgia's sake, although this well composed photo deserves full marks on technical merit alone. Great job A. J.

I always thought that the Concord was a hugely un-economical aircraft, but it always looked so graceful and powerful, two words which would normally contradict eachother in most contexts!

Perfect timing! Just before the main gear lifts up! It also clearly illustrates the way the nose tilts down during takeoff. Too bad its out of service now. 5 Stars easy

Flying on Concorde was the 2nd greatest experience on my life (1st being my daughter born). That moment we thrust forward for take off was awesome. Seen her hundreds of times and miss her flying nowdays. She will always be Queen of the Skies. How can something ahead of its time be in a museum ?

Once a familiar sight, the graceful lines of Concorde are more than just elegant.Sadly the demise of Concorde means the end of supersonic travel.
