G-BOAD (cn 210) One of many Concordes around the world now turned into museums. This one, G-BOAD, flew with BA and was in Singapore Airlines colors during part of its service life to promose BA's SIN route (operated as a codeshare) on the Concorde. The Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum is temporarily closed for renovations, but G-BOAD will re-open soon, once it has returned from its temporary home on Long Island. [Olympus E-500]

Its really ironic... one of the greatest passenger aircrafts ever has to be transported away by ship.

Five stars because Concorde is always five stars even on the ground, but it's always with great sadness that I look at it now. Come on, someone build a successor, Emirates would buy it!

I rated this photo with 3 stars, however not even all the stars in the universe could do this majestic and nostalgic, romantic piece of work the justice she deserves. Please come back old girl!
