To the commenter below... If another aircraft had engine troubles and couldn't fly back to base, another 747 would take it under the wing and transport it there. I doubt that the A380 has this capability.

Clever way to transport a Spare Engine! I assume the fairing inside the intake is to prevent windmilling during flight?
