G-CIVD (cn 27349/1048) While sitting in the park across the street from the In-N-Out listening to my AC radio, (128.500 Socal Approach) I heard Speedbird 283 come on frequency. That's not unusual, but to my astonishment the person handling the radio had an American accent. As they departed the Santa Monica VOR and descended to 2500ft, turning base and then final, I wondered how many Americans work for BA in the flight deck? Well, here she is crossing Sepulveda Blvd. with her American FO onboard, about 10 seconds from TD on 24R.
