A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat June 12, 2010: I had a BA landing like that at LAX in '83. Oxygen masks came out, people screamed. After 10 seconds announcement said welcome to LAX. Guess we needed the oxygen to beat the smog. Flew back two days later on same aircraft, same crew. Told them about hard landing on inbound. Got fantastic service all the way home!

Also, you seem to have the light at just the right angle to catch that odd bulge just below the windows between doors 3R & 4R. I've never noticed that bulge. It must be normal but yet I just don't remember seeing it before.
