The materials and the colors look very elegant, and I love the way that the windows resemble those you might find on a train.

A visitor from Canada posted Sat September 29, 2012:
Looks like cathay's

A visitor from - posted Thu May 10, 2012:
A nice shot, but I don't agree that this is the best F product in Europe- LH's new First product beats this one (and I say that as a loyal BA fan)!

A visitor from United States posted Sun May 15, 2011:
Elegant

A visitor from - posted Sun February 27, 2011:
An example to Emirates and Ethiad. Very elegant 1st Class.

A visitor from Germany posted Sun February 20, 2011:
I don't know a better looking First Class than this beauty here.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed February 2, 2011:
Well, nice First class, no doubt. But to me it looks a bit crampy, though you feel like beeing sticked into a coffin, and anyway, is there a TV screen!?
Well, the SQ first class is much better i guess, but anyway this is an advantage to the "jump over your neighbour to get out of your seat" business class of BA!

A visitor from Netherlands posted Sun November 14, 2010:
Number 1 first class.I would fly anyday when they would operate from ams to new york.KLM is good and a direct flight but this is better.10st for this

A visitor from Netherlands posted Sun October 24, 2010:
Awesome first class.and on the upper class a/c the 777

A visitor from - posted Tue October 19, 2010:
A new class benchmark, I would say.

A visitor from - posted Sat October 9, 2010:
The blind covers two windows and is enclosed, so you can raise and lower it by means of a control to the side of the seat. Flew the new BA first recently and was very impressed. Have to say it is my favorite of the first classes I have flown. It is incredibly elegant and refined, without having the somewhat obnoxious feeling of Emirites' Suite. Far superior in my opinion to LX and LH. Their first classes have ZERO feeling of privacy, whereas this BA suite does, mainly due to the slight angling towards the windows and the generous privacy screens. The food is also excellent and the cabin crew are wonderful!

A visitor from United States posted Fri October 8, 2010:
Elegant? yes. But comfortable? not so sure!

A visitor from - posted Thu October 7, 2010:
Whoa, it looks like BA is trying to make it look like a railway carriage, interesting look!

A visitor from Egypt posted Thu October 7, 2010:
Very elegant indeed and comfortable too.

The blue screen is the window blind, which you can control remotely, it has mood lighting integrated. This is also the "real" screen (window blind) if this what you mean.

A visitor from Malta posted Thu October 7, 2010:
Very nice picture but I agree; the screen is a bit odd - is there even a window to look out of? Also, I find it interesting how the airlines cleverly add gimmicks to distract from the fact that they are reducing individual space to get more seats in the cabin. If I pay the fares that are required to fly F, then I don't want just another coffin-style sleeping arrangement, sorry. Great picture, though. Bravo!

A visitor from Germany posted Thu October 7, 2010:
Always keeping it classy. thank you ba

A visitor from - posted Thu October 7, 2010:
This looks like a nice way to travel. I think that the use of a fisheye lens however detracts from the quality of the shot.

A visitor from United States posted Wed October 6, 2010:
Nice photo, but the fisheye look / feel to it kills the picture

A visitor from United States posted Wed October 6, 2010:
The blue screen is the window. It's electrochromatic now, so you can open and close it using the controller.

A visitor from United States posted Wed October 6, 2010:
The blue screen looks like a single window blind covering two windows. Also looks enclosed so I would guess it opens and closes from a control next to the seat... Beautiful pic, makes flying look elegant and special again!

A visitor from - posted Wed October 6, 2010:
Phenomenally elegant - and super shot too.

A visitor from United States posted Wed October 6, 2010:
It's obviously window shades covering two windows.

A visitor from United States posted Wed October 6, 2010:
This is the most beautiful first class I have ever seen. British Airways did a marvelous job with this suite. Unlike some other airlines (I'm looking at you Emirates..) British keeps the tones simple and not tacky. They sure know how to make a smart looking cabin.

A visitor from Australia posted Wed October 6, 2010:
Oh my! What a amazing product! Personally, it's even better than the SIA's one on A380!

A visitor from - posted Wed October 6, 2010:
The "blue screen" is the window shade and the PTV pops out of that brownish panel

A visitor from United States posted Wed October 6, 2010:
Looks amazing...and I'm assuming the 'blue screen' is the window shade. Looks like the TV screen would maybe pull out from the compartment on right hand side.

A visitor from United States posted Wed October 6, 2010:
I literally gasped when I saw this picture! Amazing!!

A visitor from Iran, Islamic Republic Of posted Wed October 6, 2010:
Nice, but LX and LH new First products looks so much better. The new BA First looks more like a luxury Business class.

A visitor from Canada posted Wed October 6, 2010:
BA stepped their game up!

A visitor from United States posted Wed October 6, 2010:
Very nice, but where is the window???

A visitor from - posted Wed October 6, 2010:
Wow. stunning. although I like the real windows, this one's really elegant. But Swiss' F is slightly better. But this one is also brilliant.

A visitor from - posted Wed October 6, 2010:
The blue screen u mentioned is the window shades, the PTVs are stored somewhere

A visitor from - posted Wed October 6, 2010:
Not bad ... but what is the blue screen for? And where is the real screen?

A visitor from - posted Wed October 6, 2010:
I think Swiss still takes the cake in Europe.

A visitor from Germany posted Wed October 6, 2010:
That's an unusual level of elegance.

A visitor from - posted Wed October 6, 2010:
Just... amazing!
