A visitor from Australia posted Thu February 25, 2010: I was there ! What you dont see is that she came down lower as she approached the single rope fenced crowd..! It was amazing to see the wheels roll on the grass...and scary at the same time..! and then just when it reached my position..throttle back and WOW the noise and grass everywhere ! It was so close you could touch it. Fond Memories indeed !

A visitor from United States posted Sat February 11, 2006: I always liked the hug whale-finned tail of the VC-10. This shot gives an excellent angle of the tail and aircraft as a whole. The exhaust from the four rear-aft engines gives a sense of power to the takeoff.
