Beautiful pic, but the livery looks wrong for 1979... I think the pic is from the early 80's. I flew BCAL to Brazil in April 79, November 79, the middle of 1980 and 82. I remeber the wings flex up and down a bit during flight.

I think I am mistaken about the livery: this must have been one of the first planes with the updated paint job. On another note, my dad was working in Brazil at the time and a mate of his was in the air returning to UK when the DC-10s were grounded.
