VH-LBD (cn 4410296) Built 1983, ex N6838K. Flown ex USA via Majuro to Brisbane on 1 Feb 1989 by ferrying specialists Southern Cross Aviation. Flown to Adelaide-Parafield for work to be done by Rossair, regd VH-LBD on 14 Feb 1989, delivered to Perth 19 Feb 1989 ( a few weeks before this photo). Replaced an MU-2 which crashed in Dec 1988 (VH-BBA, worst aviation accident in Australia for 20 years, killed 10 people). VH-LBD later joined Skippers Aviation. Still regd in 2008, now based in Victoria.
